'My blog has now caught up with all my Madoch Quotes and so is now working in real time. Yikes! Something new to say every day- yes, like that's going to be a major problem really! Can I be bothered. Can you be bothered.
It's the colour of our times- an indelicate shade of 'can anyone be fucking bothered'.
Mmm, you painted the inside of your shithouse with it and were so impressed you let it spread to your lounge, dining room and the whole of the rest of your complacent nest. But sweetie, you know best. LOL.
There's no flies on you- just a zillion pooping on the walls of your life.' CM

'Someone we know got their return from the French Alps diverted due to the shooting of the British based family and the local French cyclist which has left a seven year old in a medically induced coma and her four year old sister alive but profoundly traumatized. The murders bear all the hallmarks of a professional, possibly a state or mafia instigated hit but all of the authorities are pussy-footing around it.
This nominally British family were in fact Iraqi and were certainly not short of means.
There have been state initiated murders of British and foreign nationals in the UK and, to my recall, none of these has ever been solved. I do not expect a true outcome in this case.
What our associates went on to tell us was quite disturbing for those of us used to motoring in Europe. They know of practices prevalent in France which have been attributed to the illegal activities of Romanian gypsies: these include placing an apparently abandoned baby in a car seat on the side of the road. Sometimes this is a real child, sometimes this is a life-size doll. This is bait so that a compassionate driver pulls over to investigate- whereupon they are robbed by a gang. They have been known to throw eggs at the windshields of cars. Your first reaction would be to put the wipers on. This makes matters worse. You are forced to pull over and are then consequently robbed.
None of the above paints an inviting picture of driving from Calais to Cannes.

I was listening to a former chief saying on the radio that some guns are remarkably easy to use and could produce the results as evidenced in the French alps murders. Really? Firstly if that is true, and I very much doubt it, I think it is far from responsible to broadcast such things- it is enough that with every passing day guns become increasing available to all and sundry in the UK. Secondly I do not believe him- the mechanics of using a gun is one thing but I suggest that hitting a row of tin cans is quite different from hitting three skulls squarely without a second thought- people unused to firearms do not do that. I was pretty incensed that the BBC Radio 5 reporter had not the presence of mind to mention this logic to the said expert. What a berk.

Moving on. Much as I have many good things to say about the Paralympic Games not everything that has occurred in London has been worthy of merit. There have been many goofs by officials which have not been highlighted as they deserved; there has been the blades issue where the rules change across categories competing within the same race. Fairness should be at the heart of any sporting venture and it is a total disgrace that this is being routinely ducked for fear of discrediting the whole event. I was looking forward to people with Tourettes boxing- but it does not exist, neither does Fencing with sabres for paranoid schizophrenics.
I have many friends who are registered disabled with Major Depression Disorder but none of the Olympiad events accommodate them.
Age is itself a disability. Among the plethora of 'categories' already devised to allow people with various disabilities to compete- some of them with only half of one arm missing or 50% eyesight, I cannot seen for the life of me why there is not a place for older sports people or sports men and women dealing with mental health issues.

On to lighter things- I am now fully in collaboration with the great satirist Mike Knowles and we are pressing ahead on a number of projects including film scripts. One is a very original rom/com; another is a very biting look at the whole of the music industry which is clearly eating itself from the position of having its head constantly up its arse; we are contemplating a satirical sketch series for TV and I would be over the moon if between us we could pull off a new cop series for TV. That is what I should be working on now. Back with you again tomorrow if the mood takes me.' CM- The Queer Messiah.

BIG PS:

The very best of luck to my 'adopted' niece Lily Collins at The Toronto Film Festival and to her and Jamie Campbell-Bower as they continue shooting The Mortal Instruments.
