If you are gay stay very far away from NIGERIA- they fear ya indigenous gayness with the same degree of unabashed hatred that whites used to have for blacks in Africa and- this is very important, visa versa. The curse is worsening.
If you are gay and are living in one of the minority of states in the USA where it is illegal to sack you because of your sexual preference, spare a thought for your Nigerian gay compadres- they do exist, IN HIDING AND IN FEAR FOR THEIR LIVES.
America is not in its legislature untainted by homophobia. Nigeria is a nightmare. The list of rogue non-humanitarian countries is a long one. The United Nations are utter toothless and hypocritical cunts for being so powerless in the face of such grotesque behaviour that was last historically recorded during the witch hunts of the middle-ages.
It would be very remiss of me not to mention the journalist Patrick Strudwick for his excellent article 'On The State Of The World We Live In' Gay Times UK February 2012 issue. In my role as The Queer Messiah I am not in the least subject to the degrees of circumspection that Patrick clearly was- reading between the lines you could hear him grinding his teeth and baying for blood. I really wish he would have done. But, despite the back of this glossy being stuffed with lasciviously illustrated ads for phone sex and rent boys- there are rules for the gay press when they come to lock horns with our world wide detractors from whatever delusional faith or racist ethnicity.

In Russia they have passed a law against the 'promotion of homosexuality'.
In Nigeria they have criminalised gay marriage. You can be stoned to death for being gay. Any guest at a gay wedding can be jailed for 10yrs.
Uganda is re-introducing the bill which makes being gay punishable by death.
Pakistan recently tried to ban texts which included any of the words gay, homosexual or condom.
Malaysia is debating increasing its sentences against gayness- 20yrs imprisonment has been suggested as has gay 'cure-counselling'.
The new Spanish right-wing government [Under the thumb of Catholicism] is set to overturn the law that presently permits gay marriage. [Interestingly one of a very few countries in the world where gay and hetero marriages are absolutely equal AND both include enduring powers of attorney over each other.]
Ghana is opposing all attempts to legalise homosexuality there.
Cameroon is vigorously pursuing anyone who is seeming to break their anti-homosexuality laws.
And YES in Northern Cyprus- the only part of Europe that still criminalises homosexuality flagrantly arrested three men for it in October 2011.
In Mumbai- despite India legalising homosexuality in 2009, men are still being sought out by the authorities and fined up to two weeks wages by the insidious sex police.
This is before I start to mention the proliferate Arab or MUSLIM countries who, either with or without Sharia law, manage to be singularly homophobic, misogynist, murderous and inhumane with shameful abandon. BECAUSE THEY CAN.
Homophobia as a word to look at is not so far removed from the word homicide and the world trend, it seems to me, is to be one of putting the two terms in the same ugly box. Off with their heads, off with their cocks!!
Where are you going to put your hard earned pink pounds my wonderful evolutionary revolutionary friends? Take stock and take a care- we wouldn't want any of the above hate-filled bigoted shitty so called civilised states profiting from you would we.
